Métis Mama was asked to submit the Statement of Claim for Clem Chartier and the MMF against the MNC to http://cybersmokeblog.blogspot.com/. The entire text for the 23 page claim will be posted by the looks of things. Check it out – people are invited to view for themselves…
As for the story of the Statement – the case has never been taken to court and the story is Clem and David’s interpretation of facts.

Do you know if a Statement of Defence has been filed?
I do not believe so but we will find out for sure and let you know.
MetisMama,
After a Statement of Claim is filed the Defendant(s) usually have 20 days to file their Statement of Defence. Failure to do so would result in a default judgment. In other words, the courts would step in and render a decision.
However, lawyers for both sides can negotiate an extension of the deadline. In this case, although the Statement of Claim has been filed, the Plaintiffs may not be pushing the issue instead looking for an out of court settlement.
An educated guess would be the Statement of Defence has not been filed.
